I was commissioned by my client to do a digital painting/illustration of a photo that they took of one of their flowers in bloom.
This isn’t just any flower. If you’ve seen Crazy Rich Asians, you will be familiar with this specific flora. The rare and beautiful Hua Tan Flower is one that blooms at night in the dark, to the light of the moon.

Utilizing Adobe Fresco and Adobe Illustrator on an IPad Pro, I learned so much in terms of layering potential that these two programs have when used in conjunction with one another. The amount of precision and control, especially in line and brush use, along with singular editing, pushed me to new heights in the digital art realm. Printing the completed project upon the highest quality canvas, with superior ink and printing technology utilized, I exceeded the clients expectations in size, precision, and overall quality.
